Footwell bulb replacement

Hello All. I'm trying to change out the bulbs in the footwell lights on my 300zx. I can't seem to figure out how to get to the bulb though. There is the white plastic cover which is held in place by 4 metal tabs. I tried bending these back and was able to get the plastic free of the tabs but still could not get to the bulb. I can't figure out how to take the whole light assembly out to work on it easier either. Has anybody else had to replace a bulb here or figured this out? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
