The first Pats game is on Sunday, horray!

In other news, we males finally have a good excuse to drink on Sundays again!

Post up for your super early predicitions and we can revisit this thread to see who was closest with knowing nothing.

I'm going to vouch for the Colts because they put up a decent season last year and played the Pats very well.

PATRIOTS YEAHHHHHHHH

also i like the idea of a pats/vikings super bowl, so i'm going with that prediction. OR PERHAPS pats/cowboys... we'll see how tjax can hold up in minnesota. dallas has a pretty stout defense and everybody will be watching out for AP this season... or trying to

i'm going to post my fantasy team because it's fitting

starters: David Garrard (Jac), Adrian Peterson (Min), Laurence Maroney (NE), Chris Chambers (SD), Terrel Owens (Dal), Wes Welker (NE), Jeremy Shockey (NO), Patriots D/ST, Rob Bironas (Ten)

bench: Brett Favre (NYJ), Ben Watson (NE), Jaguars D/ST, Donte Stallworth (Cle), Felix Jones (Dal), Donald Driver (GB), Chris Johnson (Ten)

in a league of 8, i was always right in the middle for the draft picks . but i feel like it came out strong, so we'll see how it goes...

Packers all day everyday baby!! Monday night is a big game, gotta start the season beating the vikings, then move onto the lions for two quick division wins. We may have a new qb but that 13-3 team is going to be a damn good supporting cast for mr. rodgers.

I'd just like to see them actually WIN the Super Bowl after being so damned close for the last decade.

[Edit: I don't count the year they played the Bears, because Chicago didn't even show up to the game.. it was bad.]

Wow... Badass artwork. I hope the pats win the bowl, but I seriously doubt they go undefeated. Around this time last year I declaired they would go 19-0. There IS a NICO post to prove it too.

I'd like to invite people over my house for the superbowl. I recently purchased a 42" 1080p HDTV, and have dish DVR HD service. I also have a sweet leather sofa and a bachelor-esque fridge full of good football food and good beer. 2 bedrooms are empty. Let me know.

I'm SO there.

I'm a Falcons fan, so be kind... I'm in for a LONG season.

On a happier note, my son just got named starting MLB and TE as well as Capt of the defense for his varsity team (5A school and they look great).

I have a personal vendetta against the Pats, but I will say that they do play a mean game. They are definitely the team of the 00's, much like the Cowboys were of the early 90's. I am not going to say that I wouldn't be sad if they were undefeated, but I'm just going to say I wish them luck.

Plus, I'm there! SuperBowl is like a holiday in my family. Order of importance: 4th, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and SuperBowl. Hell, I'll even make some chili and cornbread (a tradition for my family) and we can have a NICO cookout for the SuperBowl. I'm in!

Wow, now you have to provide us with a link to the school or something so we can keep track of the school's season and how well your son does. This is my demand, and since I'm the Wicked Witch, I will get my way!

Greg, mark it in the NICO calendar.

Veebee, you are from TN so you are gonna have to bring about 15 cases of Yeungling.

They will taste like breaded, fried, "squeaky fresh" cheese turds and a pitcher of Lienie's.

honestly greg, i think atlanta will do better than most people think. they won't be division champs or anything, but will finish around .500.

the saints will return as the bottom feeders of the south.

carolina will return to the superbowl and win this time.

I don't really know why, but I've always liked the panthers. I also like the raiders, again, no idea why. I do not like the Colts, but I DO respect them.

I love football.

we need a football emoticon.

im not 100% confident yet, but they showed signs in the first half of being the team to be scared of in the NFC

and of course we all know that the cowboys are going to blow it again because h0m0 romo will be busy thinking about the fat one hell be sucking later on to play real football when it counts
