Hi,

I just read that the coupe has power folding mirrors...I was wondering if they auto fold up when you lock the car, or if you have to hit a switch to get them to fold and return back to normal when you start it again?

Well, if you go to the Nissan site: http://www.nissanusa.com/altim....html under Exterior is says "Folding outside mirrors with LED turn signal indicators". And on Yahoo Autos: http://autos.yahoo.com/nissan_...p=all it lists "Dual Body Color Folding Power Adjustable Heated Signaling Exterior" as one of the features. A few other reviews mention something about power folding mirrors too.

They fold but not motorized like other "high end" cars. Only the mirror part moves.

Oh darn. I was hoping power folding mirrors meant they were motorized. That'd be so sweet on the coupe!

"Folding Power Adjustable Heated Signaling Exterior" means:

They are powerable adjustable, folding, heated, and have turn signals

Yeah that makes sense, and is what I thought. But I guess it being 3am and me still having several more pages to go in my essay which was due at 8am I got overexcited over the prospect of motorized side mirrors without really thinking it through.

3.5 mirrors fold, 2.5's dont.

I really want the 3.5 mirrors, love the led signals and folding it is quite reassuring that when I'm parked on a street, that no one side swipes my mirror or better yet when parking in the garage!...
