So, I'm trying to install my foglights on my 08 Altima Coupe 2.5L. No foglights were previously installed and is also not pre-wired.

In this pic, I've highlighted all of the wiring. For the only connection in yellow, see a closeup of it in the next pic. Can someone tell me where I need to hookup all those wires?

It comes with the relay and also the switch to mount on the inside dash. Anyone know what I need to do to hook that up also?

Just have another question. To avoid installing the switch in my dash, would I be able to connect the fog lights by just tapping into my headlights, so that when I turn on the headlights, the fogs also come on? If so, how?

Any input would be much appreciated.

Okay... Good on you for taking pics but it might help to put up a few more.

The two wires near the bottom in black and red simply need ground and 12v power from the battery (black is ground, red is power). To connect to ground you can mount that cable to ANY bolt that is threaded I to metal, preferably connected to the frame with an obvious and strong path.

In the yellow box is simply your fuse holder. This should just have a (purple) fuse pressed into it and current should be able to pass through the fuse. The fuse is there to protect the remainder of the circuit from grounding out and shorting to another component on the vehicle or the vehicle itself.

Now the tricky part comes with that other red, bare wire with no connector on the end. That looks like it might be the REAL 12v power cable and leads me to believe the first two wires I explained are actually colored incorrectly. It's possible that both of the wires near the bottom are two separate grounds, each coming off of a fog light, and should both be black. It's really hard to guess without seeing the whole circuit laid out on the floor.

Is that bright green connector unattached to anything? It looks like it should attached to another harness that runs to the cabin for a switch.

To answer your headlight question... Yes you can wire the fogs to come on with the headlights quite easily and safely. We just have to double check that we know exactly what all the other wires are before we do that. If you study how a relay works that you can do all this wiring more easily without worrying so much what all the colors are for. I believe the thickest red wire from the relay should travel to the fuse, and then to the car battery. The blue wire is your powered switch and should be tapped into one headlight power wire, and I'm assuming the white wire is your switched power from the battery that actually turns the fogs on and off. And then you're just left with your black grounds.

I know all about how to wire this up so feel free to ask more questions as I'm sure I could do a better job of explaining.

Here is a pic of the whole harness.
