I've asked this question without getting an answer. The search bore no fruit.I suspect those who've done it just did without front signals. You could also wire up the front corner lights to be the signals, using a dual-filament bulb. The question is what the light pattern would be. You can get 55-watt 1157 bulbs off eBay and the like, and sockets from any parts store. Power them directly through a relay and use the stock lighting harness only to supply the coil side of the relay- I'm sure another 110W would raise hell with the unconscionably-delicate J30 lighting relay. Mounting additional bulb holders would probably ruin any hope at a useful beam patten. I'm perplexed how a "luxury sedan" of the nineties was built without foglights, or at least the option of having them. The more so on the J30, whose turn signals look as though they were meant to be fogs.

The early 90s Q45 fog lights look like they are the same size as the J30sturn signal, Does any know if they will fit. Here is a Picture on Q45.org http://www.q45.org/gallery/v/R...dex=1

The Q-boat fogs look more square. If they'd substitute, I'm sure we'd all already know about it.

Or you can add a set of aftermarket fog lamps. I run a set of aftermarket PIAA's, they integrate well into the bumper grille with a little bit of cutting.

What bulbs did you use for the bottom (soon to be fogs) i think i know what you did in the conversions seems to be a simple theory

I REALLY am interested in knowing what could be done in 10 minutes to trun the signal light into fog light and the corner light into signal light.

well you could bolt on lights direct to the battery thru your own relays and wiring harness if you know how to make a harness... when i was doing alot of cross continental driving and had to do alot of nite driving ... i had all my 'cross country' lights on a harness and on remotes so no drilling since it was wireless...but nothing beats it when you're on a deserted road with no lights and you can turn on 'artificial daylight' in front of you...

Don't people park in Canada? Down here in orc land, you'd have about twenty minutes before half those lamps were chasing nightcrawlers, and the others were signalling Jupiter.Oh, and we're only allowed 2 fogs and 2 "driving" or whatever other name (aux, passing, pencil, etc.) on a car. What you needed there were Cibie Super Oscars

And I still want to know if you get a decent, non-blinding fog pattern, or just a wash-it-down, hose-it-all blarp of light.I'm not chasing a boulevardier looky-I'm-cool bunch of photon noise out the nose of the car. I want the extra five seconds to catch a glance at that marauding deer perched on the shoulder, looking for its life's last 50-mile-an-hour chromium dry-hump.

sorry guys i got caught up with work friday late, then the OU game, then i had to fix one of my underlights and build my amp rack... so ya i didnt take any pics. but here's the process, (simplified) run the wires from the blinker up to the running lights and run the wires from the running lights down to the original blinker housing. u need to ad some wire for the running lights wires to reach the blinker housing... then go to auto zone ask them to match ur bulbs but with white instead of amber and the smaller amber lights instead of your running lights... p.s. the harness' that hold the bulbs are the same, but you'll have to cut them all off and swap them.. (left to right.... right to left) b/c theres a plastic indention that keeps them from being a clean fit. but if u swap they'll go in perfect... lil more wire work but its not bad.... this will give you those (fog) lights, but seriously they dont illuminate much, but they look HOTT baby! hope this helps... let me know
