Preface:Have a blue 07 HB SL MT-6. Have the prewire for the fogs, but don't want to shell out the cash for the OEM setup. Bought me some fogs that i like and they came with switch/fuse/wiring, but where should I pass through into the cabin? I have one open slot next to my dimmer and power mirrors that I want to put the switch in. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would recommend just buying the OEM switch. It replaces the current turn signal/headlight switch and looks much cleaner. And you still won't spend near as much as the whole OEM kit.

BUT.. if you must use the switch that came with the fogs, it will be tricky as you can not get to the firewall grommet with your hands without removing the battery and intake. A good trick is to get a metal hanger and poke it through the grommet from inside and feed it through til you can get to it from under the hood. You then tape the wire to the hanger really good and pull the hanger back out.

Thanks! I saw the oem setup for the switch, and from what I've read, I guess the fogs only come on when the headlights come on. I know it's a bit lame and maybe ricer-ish, but I'd like 'em to come on with my parking lights. >.< Definitely gonna see how it goes tomorrow. Thanks for the advice!

OEM is the way to go. Can't go wrong with that!
