Anyone know of any good fob lights that are similar looking to HID's? I have the factory ones which have the yellow/white light to them but they are not very bright. Are there any bulbs or conversion kits for the fog lights in the A/C?

You are comparing 35W HIDs to 35W halogens. No? That's like comparing 35W compact flourescents to 35W incandescents. There is no direct comparison. A 35W HID is FAR brighter than even a 55W halogen! Plus the HID offers so much more control over the colour.

well those cheap 2$ bulbs I bought are as white as my stock HID's so color match prob is solved. never said it would be as bright as HID. but the color temp is now the same for me

no melting or I wouldn't recommend using them
