Does any one know the output Wattage of the factory Fogs. It would be better to buy an Aftermarket Fog light with the same outputso that it wont overheat or blow anything up

would anybody agree?

Actually.... I am thinking something which sounds quite weird.... (So don't flame me)

Locate the regular headlight unit as a fog light, and use those fog light wire to power the HID.

Advantage: way brighter, and you save the halogen set, for sure that fog light wire is more than enough to power a set of HID (35-55W for HID, right?)

Disadvantage: how to do the wiring. (I mean... low & high beam on that set of HID + Halogen), will halogen melt the bumper.

If I can have 2 individual control of the high low beam + on/off, it will be amazing.

quick question about the OEM fogs. i've read that the SL trim is already pre-wired for the fogs. So how about the S model? i have an S and im thinking about getting the fog lights but not sure about the wiring

well i also have the S model...and i've searched for the wires for the Fogs...I dont think they come preWired on the S....only SL....so i guess we need to follow the tutorials up above to install fogs ourselves or take it to a tunershop...

Wish we had it preWired...much freakin easier....

Sorry to resurrect such an old post but I came across it today. The pics helped me locate my plugs today after 2 failed attempts. I have a 2011 S with the power package, so this option does come prewired from the factory.

My 2009 Versa S sedan was prewired, however it came with the Power Package, Cruise Control, and ABS. I believe the important item is the power package in order to have it prewired.
