Hello there guys,

I'm looking for some yellow fog light bulbs. I would like to know from your experiance what are the great, good, bad and ugly out there. I believe the 08 altima coupe uses H11 bulbs correct? If you guys could please help and give me brands, models and places or links to buy them from please it will be great. Once again I am looking for yellow fog light bulbs. Thanks In Advance

Piaa and/or Nokya (sp?) put our some good bulbs... I have the Nokya yellow bulbs on my 1st gen fogs and they're crazy bright... Most people will say Piaa, but they can tend to get pricy from what I hear... there's always HID Fogs @ 3000K ... good luck

PIAA's are great, but a bit pricey. But I truly do believe you get what you pay for. Nokya's burned and discolored my headlight lenses on my last car, so I chucked them and had to buy new headlight housings. I will never use that brand again!! Sylvania SuperStars would be the safest "bright" bulbs in my opinion.

could it have been cause of too much voltage? I have the stock glass fogs which i wired up, and I have Nokya bulbs in my H/L's and haven't had any problems with it getting too hot and warping my housing... I even had HID's before I got the Nokya's and they didnt burn my housing... They just burned out, LOL... but I only paid $75 for everything from a guy that was parting out his car cause it was a show car, and then he got a GTI, but the were good for about a year, not bad for $75 if you ask me... Either wait it is definitly a BIG difference... man i miss those.

Haven't had any luck with PIAA's..they are pricey and I use proper cotton gloves (like I use inspecting nuclear fuel) so no oil etc, but I have had failures in less than a year twice, now you can get PIAA to ante up and replac, but it takes a while and to be honest the Silverstars are just as good IMHO, but then again I am talking my old Titan...so take it for what its worth...both FOGS, HIGH and LOW's...again this has been my experience.

Cheapest> Most expensive : Nokya> PIAA> HID

all depends on how much you want to spend... Yes, you get what you pay for, and IMO even Nokya's are worth it... good luck.

EDIT: I couldn't find yellow H11 PIAA's, but here's the Nokya'shttp://www.nokyausa.com/hy/hy7618.html

If you want to keep it halogens, go with the Sylvania SilverStars. Or you could always convert to HID for a little bit more.

Do they make Silverstars for fogs? He needs fog lights... I guess H11 could be both though...

SilverStars will give you a whiter than stock halogen bulb color; however, it will not replicate an HID bulb. You could buy one of those aftermarket xenon bulbs in a higher K rating. If you want to match your stock HID, somewhere around 4300K-5000K would be the closest.

I'm confused, how can I use a xenon bulb on my fog lights if they aren't HID's?

Is there a H11 Silverstar? The closest I see is the 9006. Is this a stupid question?
