Hey everybody,I just bought my first 240sx on monday. It is a stock '93 fastback S13. 91k miles, 5speed, alloys, sunroof, good shape and well taken care of, a bit of oxidation on the bumper and roof though (to be buffed out later). $3700.I live in San Francisco and it gets rather foggy here. I was thinking of installing fog lights, and I've seen some s13s that have lights in place of the vents in the bumper-were these lights an option, or only avalible in forign markets?Where could I get some and how much is a good price?Barring stock fog lights, what would you recomend as a nice aftermarket light?ThanksSteve

Looks like ur new from the number of posts you have. But i guess i'll be the first to tell you. That that red button that says "SEARCH" can answer your questions most of the time. SEARCH that first..then if your question isn't answered...then post.

You have probably seen a picture of a canadian 240 that has the mandatory Day Time running lights in the front bumper. These are on at all times when the headlights aren't.

I believe there was a post awhile back from someone looking to find what the part # was on these lights so that he could order them for his US 240.

Ahh yeeesss. Those are what I am thinking about. I need foglights though, not driving lights. (I'm sure wiring could be changed to accomodate fog light configuration) Perhaps I could get a hold of these canadian driving lights, remove the internals, and replace them with an actual fog light.Hrmmmmm......Issues with the heat from the bulb would become a factor then. Also it would be difficult to find internals that would fit directly.Maybe just the lens could be bolted to the bumper and the entire aftermarket foglamp assembly could be bolted behind it...:poke

i found some aftermarket fog lights that fit perfectly in between my grilles...and so i bolted them in and they shine through the grills:D you can't even see them if they're off! very factory looking, i've had quite afew people ask if they are oem stuff...I'll get around to taking some pics...some day

oh and the pdm ones are located at http://www.pdm-racing.com/prod....html if you didn't find them already...

I think the 1500 and 1700 series have a good shape, and will probably look good on the S13. I'd mount them in front of the inter-cooler, but I'm kind of a ricer like that. :D Not that I'd actually own a set of them, because that's the kind of bling-bling that gets jacked. :(

Yeah NeedCAforS13,If you can get arround to posting some photos of the almost-stock lights you are talking about that'd be cool. So are they mounted behind the vents that are still in place. Haveing a difficult time visualizing. What brand are they btw?
