Fog lights stay on

2006 G35 40k miles. I searched but did not find anything on this. New to this site, so I might have missed it.

When I turn the engine off the fog lights come on and stay on. The only way I know to get the fog lights off is to disconnect the battery. Once the battery is reconnected, the fog lights stay off. But the next time the car is cranked then turned off, the fog lights come back on. This just started today. Have owned the car for a year with no problem til now.

Update. Checked this morning and the battery is completely dead. The battery was connected overnight but there were no lights on overnight, so I do not know what drained the battery.

Allowing battery to discharge permanently damages it and shortens its lifespan. Take car to dealer for a checkup ASAP- should still be under warranty?

I will probably have to take it to the dealership on Monday. I was just hoping there was a fuse, relay or something else I could do myself before then.
