Hi,

I would like to know if its possible to install a roofrail on 2015 Rogue S. Has anyone tried it on the 2014-2015 models? any drilling required?

Fog lights? correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe the SV is already pre-wired and they just plug in the foglights if the owner purchase it as an option, but what about on the S models?

i hate it when i use the wiper in the morning to remove the moisture on the front window and the liquid runs through the side/door windows when i drive. does anyone know where i can purchase these window visor vent or cheap nissan parts/accessories here in the US? I don't trust buying stuff overseas and too impatient with the ave. 1-2 months shipping.

sorry if this is a duplicate question. i found a thread about the roofrail/fog light question, but it's for the older models, not for the 2014-2015.

I'm new to the nissan family - traded in my acura for the 2015 nissan rogue s.

To add fog lights to the SV (assuming it's the same as the 2014, which it probably is) they have to replace the turn signal stalk as well with the one that has the fog light switch on it. Not quite plug and play, but the wiring for the lights themselves should already be there.

Hi there guys, im new here and this will be my second nissan after long time, about 18 years ago i drove a Nissan Maxima 96, love the power and quality. Right now we are coming from a XC90 and we are looking for something smaller and much better mpg.

The difference here where i live for the Rogue that has fog lights, roof rack and sunroof is about 5k. My wife doesn't care about sunroof but i do for the roof rack and fog lights. So my main questions are:

1. Saw that the kit with harness, fog light and swith is: 999F1-G2000 is this correct? plug and play?.

2. does anybody know what is involved to install the factory roof rails: 73820-4BA1A, 73821-4BA1A. I know in a few other makes you need to remove the interior roof to install the rails, is this the case?.

Regards,
,

welcome to the boards. congrats on the new car!

please do me a huge favor, dont create a thread with multiple topics. foglight chatter belongs in the foglight threads, and roof rails belongs in the roof-rail threads. this way, when someone is searching for the info, they wont miss it. thanks a bunch. use the search function to search for existing threads.

you can find a ton of threads, already opened. i listed a few suggestions for you:

For what its worth, I remember when I bought my 2011 Rogue the salesman said that if I thought I would ever want roof rail, buy the trim level that includes them. They had just installed them for someone and it was very expensive. I am sure the headliner needs to be removed. I would talk to a non-dealer body shop and get an estimate. It looks like the rails are only about $100, so there would be a lot of money left over for labor.

You can buy the fog lamp kit here: http://www.leeparts.com/nissan_rogue_t3 ... ights.html
for $240. You can also download the installation instructions there to see what is involved. To install the switch you need to remove the driver's airbag. That is not something I have done, and probably would not try.

hey OP, why dont you buy yourself some high quality Rigid Industry lights, and install those? the OEM foglights are 100% useless. they are not designed to actually aid in the fog, nor anything really. they are aimed extremely low, and the reflector bowl is designed to cut-off the light at just about 75% of output.

you can install 2 individual "driving" lights, or 1 bar. check out the route i went with my 2 cars:

Rogue: "21inch"

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe: "10inch"

the amount of light put out by these 2 bars, is one word: INSANE.

saw the installation manual for the Fogs, doesn't look too bad, we own a performance shop but honestly i don't know if i want to do it lol. About the roof rails yeah, that's my concern that i need to remove the headliner and that's is something that i will not do and my dealer will charge me a lot of money for it.

Here we have 3 models, Sense, Advance and exclusive, im between the sense and advance which is $3500 usd difference. Both with 3 row option. The main difference on the advance is, panoramic sunroof, dual a/c, fog lights, roof rails, electric seats and 18" wheels.

Kinda disagree...if they were installed from the factory - then yes. If you install yourself you'll get more options...like installing brighter bulbs inside, aim them a lil higher and finally install an extra switch so they can be on anytime you want (including high beams). I already installed 3,000LM leds in fogs and make a huge difference.
Now...I like the idea of led bars. I think I'll get one of these for the rear first so I can use it for back up light and to remind some a&&holes to turn off a high beam on the highway (maybe including cops??? :nono:). Anyway...I'm still waiting for my 4,500 led bulbs for my low+high+fogs which I should be happy with.

Actually, the most recent topic on roof rails IS for the 2nd gen Rogue, and barely two week old. 2014+ Roof Rails, Crossbars, etc

Are the only vent visors available the stick-on ones? I miss the in-channel WeatherTech visors that I put on my old Highlander. I was hoping WeatherTech would make one for the Rogue but nothing so far.

Make sure to order the entire kit for the fog lights. The S model is already wired for fog lights however it does not include the bezels for installation. The bezels do come with the kit which also includes the lights, the switch stick and the hardware.

As for the rain guards..Ebay may be the only place to find them. The model is still so new that there aren't any options for them. WeatherTech will hopefully come out with an option sooner than later.
