I bought some new Sylvania silver-star h3 55w bulbs for my fog lights. Last night I put them in they worked great, I was very happy with the output. Tonight on my way home I hit the switch and they didn't come on, the orange light on the switch didn't light up. I have an tester I plan to play with it tomorrow. Anyone have any ideas, yes I checked the fuses. lol Thanks for reading, and thanks for any help.

Ok so ohm test on the switch was fine relay is good and but the fuse under the hood blew it wasn't blown the other day, I put a fuse in and as soone as I turned on the lights it blew again even with 35amp fuse, this should suggest a short right? I checked the wires to fog lights all appear to be in good working order. I'm lost anyone have any ideas.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the stock bulb requirement a 35W bulb? Those bulbs may be drawing too much power and overloading the system. Replace with 35W bulbs and try again.

EDIT:
I take that back. I'm running the 55W bulbs as well. Have you checked the connections inside the fog light housings? In order to run 55W bulbs the original housing "harness" plug has to be modified, and there may be a short somewhere inside the housing, causing the fuse to blow. Other than that, I can just recommend you go to town with a multimeter and trace down where the short may be.
