fog lights!! help needed.

hello. i am new to nicoclub. i recently bought an altima coupe 2.5 with the convience package about 2 weeks ago. it doesnt have fog lights but where the would be, it looks like its just black covers, if i wanted to install fog lights, how would i go by that and how much would it cost, can someone help me out?

Hey lauureen---welcome to NICO!I too own a 2.5 w/ Convenience pkg. If you want to go after market, you just have to find a set that will fit relatively well in the housing (behind the black covers) then wire it according to the specs and maybe put the switch in your dash next to your trunk release.

If you want factory fogs put on, good luck! I bought the fogs and the stalk for over $450 total only to find out the 2.5 Conv pkg doesn't come with the necessary wiring. Luckily my stealership gave me a full refund!! Like I mentioned in another thread recently, I was told it would be close to a grand to rewire the harness cuz it is tied in to many other under-the-hood-functions.

I too have a 2.5 sl 08. I did buy the oem fogs and found after a few days of hard searching the H11 pigtails/connectors and universal harness, switch and relay for under $35.00, plus another $40.00 to install. Still less then the harness alone would of cost from the dealer.
