Fog light wiring issue?

Hi all, first post.

Just got my QX4 (2002) and love it so far. Read tons on this forum both right before and after getting it. Thanks for all the useful info.

So, my fog lights did not work. Checked the fuse on the passenger side, it seemed fine. Pulled the unit on the driver side, the wire had been ripped out of the bulb. Odd. Checked the passenger side, the wire was there but it did not work. Messed around a bit and could not see anything wrong (bulb seemed fine too when looking at the filament). Finally decided to move the bulb to the driver side and it worked there. Odd. Then I decided to move the bulb back and then put the passenger side unit in the driver side and it worked there too!

So, in short, it seems that my wiring for the fog light on the passenger side must not be working? The turn signal works without issue and it seems to be coming from the same supply. Any thoughts on what else it could be before I get the voltmeter out and start checking for power? If it is bad, has anyone had any issues with it and have any advice what to look for?
