fog light setup

so yea, im installing my fog lights in this weekend, how con i have them so when i put my lights on auto they turn on with my headlights or will that just come normally?

If your fogs are coming in as a kit, It will have a SPTS (single pole throw switch) relay or just buy one form any auto store (under $5.00.) There's 4 contacts on the relay One wire will go to the battery, one to the lights, one to the power going to the headlights and one to ground. Basically, what will happen is when you turn on your headlights, the power going to the lights will "close" the circuit on the relay and energize the fogs. That's how I would do it. It's easy and safe! Good luck!

BTW, I have a diagram of how to hook it up but I'd have to search for it on my computer. Lemme know if you need it

no what i meant is i want my fogs on when i turn on my reg lights not my headlights, and i got a bling lights kit

Good God no...Not Bling lights

You can still wire them up the way that I explained except this time instead of connecting one of the wires to the wire that energize the headlights, connect them to the wire that power on the park lights, which I think are black with green tracer.
