I love the look of the lexus is 300 amber fog lights. I have a black coupe and want to add the xenon amber fog lights. Will they look anything like the is300? I know the is300 fog light have projector housings. Can i purchase stock fog lights and get 3000K HID conversion? how will that look? Or is their anyway to create a custom fog light by using a lexus is300 foglight? thanks your comments are appreciated

you could do a HID conversion, or to go a less expensive route, just get actual Hyper yellow bulbs, Nyko, and PIAA make decent ones

Problem with aftermarket bulbs is they don't last long. I used PIAA Ion Crystals for a couple years before upgrading to HID and replaced them at least 3 times.

Factory foglight kit with 3000k HID kit should work just fine.

I have been thinking of painting my fogs with Stain glass paint or using Lamin-X for the fogs and maybe a yellow bulb too for a nice deep gold look. Maybe that is. There are plenty of DIY's online about it. Post some pics whatever route you go.

Why do you want to have your fogs yellow? Traditionally, yellow fogs are ideal for places where it is always raining or foggy, The yellow light actually reduces the glare of the water droplets and thereby enhancing your vision.
