fog light question

So I just ordered fog lights from the nissan dealer and i want yellow fogs

1. should i get yellow bulbs or yellow hids?

2. is it wise to get 55w or stick with the 35w. I heard that the 55w doesnt last long and they burn out quick and melt wires

35w. the 55w will put out way too much heat relative to the size of the foglight, and you'll probably melt something. go 35w 3k HID's, yellow bulbs are a waste of money considering you can get a set of DDM Tuning HID's for like $30

ive had my ddm's for over a year, no problems. hasn't dimmed at all and zero flicker
