Fog Light or turn signal??

The car I just purchased has a broken front lens. Are the lights in the front bumper fog lights or turn signals? I haven't received the car yet so please excuse my ignorance. I am having trouble locating a replacement lens when I search fog lights.....starting to think it's just a turn signal. Any recs on good parts at good prices would be appreciated.

You don't want used as they are invariably scarred. When you get your new one, armor it to prevent breakage and deterioration.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean by armoring it? Is there a clear film or the lens??

So far I am only to locate a lens from the dealer at 162 bucks. ouch.

Nothing wrong with used parts, just check it out before buying. Get photos if it's not local. It's your decision if any blemishes are acceptable or not. I would guess that one with a few minor problems is better than none at all. Can't see it from the expressway...

I'd check E-Bay or car-part.com. I looked up your '99 Q45 on car-part.com and found a few listings from $45-100 for the Fog light.

Many thanks for the reply and the heads up. I have filled out several web pages searching for this light and I keep coming up empty. I have no problem with a used part if it's in good shape and the price is right. I'd rather save the bucks for the inevitable tires, brakes, shocks etc which I'll probably have to replace.
