Fog light installation help needed

ok so i just bought the 07 altima fog lights from a junk yard near my house....i have a 2.5 s and my car is NOT pre wired....are there any wiring kits available online??? or what can i do to have them auto on off with my other lights...i dont plan to install a seperate switch for them even though i have a lot of extra switches installed in my car.....just trying not to get the wires from the engine to inside through the firewall...last time it was a pain in the a**..

is there any way i could connect them with my parking lights???so they turn on when my car is on and turn off wen caris off...

any help would be appreciated

isn't that guide for the fogs to work with the seperate switch though?? do u know any way so i can get the fogs to work with my oem switch on the steering wheel??

Gotcha...i saw wiring to parking lights at first and this guide helped me to do that. I didn't use the OEM stalk or an independent switch and my fogs come on anytime my parking lights do....there's another thread around that site somewhere for using the OEM stalk on a non-prewired Alty...I'll take a look for it and let you know if I find it....either way, good luck!

oh..thats exactly what i was actualy looking for..how did u make em work with ur parking lights?? i mean idc it doesnt have to b a oem switch...as long as the turn on when parking lights are on....please reply back and thanx for ur help so far

No problem...if you take a look at the bottom half of that link I posted above, there's a write-up within the write-up by a guy names Slambrewski or something like that....if you use his parts list, you should be fine. I forget if he mentioned buying H11 pigtails or not, but make sure you get a set of those.

Basically if you buy that wiring harness he listed in his post, there will be a relay with a bunch of wires coming from it. Two yellow wires will be the positive leads for the OEM fogs. You'll have a ground wire of course and a power wire with an inline fuse. Then you'll have a 5th wire that you can use to get a signal to turn on the relay. If you want the fogs to turn on with the parking lights, you can t-tap this 5th wire into the green/black wire that goes into your parking light bulb.

Hello, I also have base model altima sedan 2009 with no pre wire for the folight, I had ordered foglight factory with stalk, and wires supply with h11 pigtail connector. I work at Bmw Fairfax Service Center and one of the tech is my good friend of mine, he was going to help me to install the foglight but the wiring diagram step by step, it be great if you could come down and assist with the foglight installation, I'll pay you to have the job done. It a little complex since I plan to install hid kit with relay/fuse harness + all the wires to hook up the foglight and fuse box and ground common point.
