Hello, I am new to this forum. Just got a 2012 S about a month ago and am looking to install fog lights. Went to the dealer today and he informed me they do not have a fog light kit (which I was aware of). I want a "factory" install with the addition of the auto headlight feature. I have researched all of the part needs, which include the new multifunction switch, the bumper bezels, fog lights and the optical sensor. The service guy wasn't sure how it could be done so I told him. All I really wanted was for them to install the switch and tell me where the optical sensor was located (he said on the drives side on top of the dash). They wanted $917.02 for the parts alone (all of them), and he told me it would take 2 hours to install the new switch only, due to having to remove the steering wheel and airbag, and this did not include reprograming the bcm. I do believe this is crappola. However, I do not know how to replace the multifunction switch. Making a long story short, does anyone know how to remove the old headlight/turn signal stalks and replace with the fog/auto light one? Sorry I ran on so long, but I was quite upset after the attempted robbery at the dealer. Thanks

I discovered how to replace the multifunction switch. I would like to ask if anyone has installed the optical sensor for the auto lights. I believe it goes on the passenger side of the dash on the top. There is a hole there for it. My question is: the car is supposed to be prewired for the sensor, but I cannot find the wires. Can anyone please tell me where they are located, and how to find them?
