So I want to get HIDs for my fog lights but am not sure what color temp to get. I have the HID projectors from the factory and want to get ones that match that color. The fogs right now are the halogen ones. Does anyone know what color I should get to match the headlights?

The stock color in the HID's is around 4300. I switched just my HID bulbs in the headlights to a set of 6000's and then installed a HID kit from HIDextra.com in my fogs with 6000's. Thats bright white and everything matches and works really well so far. Installed it all about 2 months ago and so far no problems, flickering, melting, etc. Just buy a kit with 4300 bulb color if you want it to match oem.

Thanks for that. I went ahead with the DDM kit and 4500K. figured they would be close enough. They just arrived yesterday and the sukky thing is that I cant install them because of the damn snow here in NYC...

I heard up north has been getting it rough with the snow. I'm originally from pa but stationed in NC. The only reason I get to complete projects is because of my garage. I hope the weather permits you to finish it though. Good luck and ask if you have any questions.
