Fog Light Conversion???

Has anyone switched their parking lights with the turn signals to make some fog lights? Was it hard doing the rewiring? I'm worried if the turn signals will look awkward and how visible they will be to other cars. I do like the look of the fogs though. I've seen some on cardomain and they looked good. Should I just get a remote fog kit instead? Thanks.
