Just a quick question guys, is it ok if I put a 100W 12V H11 yellow fog lights on a 2010?? Also is there anyway to turn on just the fog light itself without turning on the headlight?? Thank you

The Halogen fog light that comes with the car and all standard replacement bulbs are 55watts. I don't believe it would be wise to go higher than that. You would most certainly blow a fuse. If you really want yellow fogs, just get bulbs with lower watts or install an HID conversion kit with 3000K bulbs. I think those come in 35w or 55w.

To your second question, the only device I've seen that does this is:

Not sure how well it works though.

Not only is 100W going to run the risk of blowing fuse but you run the risk of melting your headlight assembly, def not a good idea.

I THINK (not sure) you can run with the just the fogs if you put the parking lights on?

Def not a good idea to run 100W. Like these guys said it will blow a fuse and you run a HIGH risk of melting the assembly. Even 55w would get pretty hot for the fog assembly since its so small. If you want the yellow get 35w 3000k HID's.

I just got my fog lights installed and they run without headlights due to the fact I do not have a relay cable, so it is possible
