So these two little pieces of foam are starting to come off from beneth the rubber part at the bottom of the door. Is the foam supposed to be there, or is it just something that wasn't taken off like it should have been?Anyone else notice this or know what I am talking about?

Yep, mine too. Only I believe that it is my fault in part because I clean between those two pieces of rubber to keep out all that grit. I had been wiping against them originally, now I wipe the opposite way. But they both are loose and I plan on mentioning it to the dealer at my next oil change.

Thanks all, glad to know that it is not just me!I've had to tuck them back in there a few times, but I am tempted to just pull them out, idk.

I discovered that the paint on the body door sill opposite the bottom door weather strip was getting chewed up by the grit that was driving itself it there off the front tire despite the mud guards. This was happening on the front and rear doors.

I bought some EPDM Rubber automobile weather strip that is about 1/2 inch square with pressure adhesive on one side.

After getting the area clean, I crawled underneith with the doors closed and installed the weatherstrip on the body to fill the gap between the body and the door bottom weather strip where the dirt was getting in.

Problem gone! No more grit and dirt. Plus, I also filled a small gap in the rear door where the rear wheel well weather strip came short and no more road dirt gets in there either.

I will post a picture if somebody will give me some help. When I click on "insert image", I just get an "[IMG][/IMG]". Don't know where to go from there.Modified by Superdave54 at 8:33 AM 3/23/2008

I would write Nissan a brief letter. It seems the dealers are so scared about the post purchase review that you fill out but once it's done the service goes down the sh!tter. My salesman told me that if I could not put 100% on each evaluation that i needed to call him before sending it in and they would make it right (?)

My bitter 2 cents

I was told the same thing about the survey... if I couldn't put 100% then I should contact them directly. I don't think I put 100%, nor did I contact them.

and it's wired, because, only driver side door's foam came off. not the passenger door.

How to post a picture::::How do I add pictures to a post?

To add pictures to a post on NICO, you need to first have an external (outside) host. Many members and staff use Iserve and you can signup there and for a nominal fee, have the ability to not only host and store pictures, but also a full assortment of photo-editing tools and the images aren't deleted after your membership expieres! Other free options include hosts such as photobucket, myspace or facebook.Once you've loaded up your picture, right click on it and you'll see 'properties.' Click on that and you'll see 'Address: (URL).' Highlight that web address, right click, and hit 'copy.'

Now go into your post and type in " [img] " with no quotation marks. After that, right click and hit 'paste.' Now after the address type in " [/img] " with no quotation marks. The [img] tage starts the image command and the backslash "/" ends the command.

It should now read [ img ] http://your picture here. jpg [ /img ] but without the spaces (which are there just for informational purposes.)

Now hit the done button and your image should show up! Congrats! If you have problems and your image doesn't show, make sure you copied the address correctly and the image tags are in place with no spaces. After that, if your still having problems, contact a moderator.

Happy Posting!
