Ok I wanna go with the FNO1R-C's in hyper black and 17 inch...

now here is my question.

In order to get 17x8 all around i have to.run 35+ offset

I know this will work in the back, but will it look ok in the front?

I can run a staggered tire size on them (read: rear 225 or 235 and 215 front)

Should i just run a smaller tire up front and whatever i want in the back?

Pics of a 17x8 all around on a s13 would be helpful if anyone has them

i'd run 17x8 w/ 225/45 all around just so you can rotate them.

215/45-17 only. 225 or larger would not clear the coil perch.

It's >....< that close with coilovers

What do you mean, "it's going in" ?

camber, yes there is 1.5deg negative camber(tilts top of tire inward)

here is the only other picture i have, this was not a set of wheels but rather one wheel i had for test fitting different tire sizes etc...

go to my members rides gallery to view the larger much larger pictures for better clarity.

I think Alan mentioned some time ago that Hyperblack is actually more of a gun metal type color. It's hard to really tell from one monitor to the other, but that could well be Hyperblack.

Yes it is more of a gun metal color. Seen that display in person. Those wheels are huge.

and then run a 195 tire on them too, right?Run a +12 and a 10 inch wide wheel, and youll have a groove tracking beast, and youll need flares. Thats alot of work.

Practicality does have a place with choosing the right wheel, tire combo and choosing a good offset.Id use nothing larger on an s13 than a 9 inch wheel on the rear. The offsets on the front should run +35, and a +25 on the rear. Run a 225/45 on the front, and a 245/40 on the rear with a 9 inch wheel. If you want to use a 8 inch on the rear, it wont be *as* flush as a 9 inch wheel with that offset. But youll be able to rotate(provided you go with the same offset on both front and rear)and also, with a 9 inch wide rear wheel you can stuff a 255 on the rear wheel and have a great contact patch. Those pics look good of smiths car. Good to use when making a decision

blah blah blah.

actually, a 235/40 on that wheel.and 17x10 +12 fits in an S13 wheelwell. biggest I've seen was 18x10.5 on stock fenders. And that wasn't even pulled all that much either. hot.

too many different fitment questions so i'll just state what i have: 17x8 FN01R-Cs in Hyper black with +35mm offset all around. this is on a S14 with AGX struts and my tires are 235/40. had this setup for about a year now, no problems. and being able to rotate the tires has been a big help to me. if you guys want to see some pics go to my cardomain site: cardomain.com/id/turboka

I got 17x7 and 17x8 both +35. Funny thing is, for some reason my rear wheel/tire seems to stick out some on the rear. I should have gotten +40 in the rear.
