Whats up everyone! I am new to the sight and always looking to expand my horizions. I just recently bought my first G35 (2007 Coupe). I am searching for ideas on where to begin mods. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Welcome to the forums. There is a database of modifications in the stickey threads above. You might want to run a search (of the G forums after you narrow it down to the things you like), and of course, post any specific questions here for the members to address.

Here is your first link to click for the mod database.

http://forums.g35club.org/zerothread/323283

Then, post some pics of your car

Again, welcome to NICO.

Welcome to Nico!

If you're interested in modding that beastly piece of metal you refer as your G35, then I suggest you start with the sponsors here on NicoClub!

They should be on that right panel that says NICO Sponsors, its the thing with all the flashing ads n' stuff, you can't miss it...

oh! and we def wanna see pics of your new G!

Welcome

start with a cold air intake from ingen, I've heard great things for the 07s. Also, look at plenum spacers and exhausts. Stillen is the brand of choice here, but I opted for the cheaper Greddy set up for my sedan. Wheels with performance tires will greatly improve your handling. And if you're in an area where it's safe to do so, lower it an inch and a half up front, and an inch in the back for optimum handling. Stick on some anti sway bars, ur all set

You'll hear many diverse opinions here, just don't touch on street racing unless you're prepared to battle... and really, since I joined this site, my outlook on street racing has changed dramatically.

I'm sticking it out on the track.

Cricket_G:

Welcome to Nico. By the way, starting from now, seek balanced and unangry and pessimistic advice--as you go along this will be clear to you. If anyone tries to be mean or behave like an idiot to you, don't hesitate to make sure they know they are piece of sh*t.

First of all, I also have a 2007 G-35 Coupe 6MT with RAS (Rear Active Steer). I drive my car hard as I drive the other car I own. These are the mods I have on the car.

5/16" spacer, Mrevv2, JWT Pop charger, clear corners, and Stillen Dual cat back exhaust. I also use synthetic oil and my tires are Toyo Proxes T1R 245/35/19 in the fronts, and 275/35/19 in the rear-- all filled with pure Nitrogen.
