I had my Falken RT615's mounted today an the shop dinged one of my 5Zigen wheels. The paint chiped off the lip all the way to the metal in a small spot. I was wondering if there is any kind of repair paint available and if any of you guys have used it. The paint is VERY thick. My wheels are hyper black so i don't think matching paint is really going to be possible.

Also FYI on an S13 with Tien HE coilovers and 17X7 +35 FN01RC's the new RT615's fit perfectly at 225/45/17. They look really nice on there too. They fill out the fenders more than 215's.

Most shops have a "tires mounted at your own risk" policy. They were super cool about it. It was the first one they tried and they caled immediately. There are no hard feelings. They showed me how it happened and it was an easy mistake. I'm lookin for repair options now. I'm sure i could get them to at the very least split the cost of a new wheel but i don't really want to have to go that route.

High performance low profile tires can be pretty challenging to get on the rim since the side walls are so freakin stiff. This is no excuse for damaging clients wheels though. I know that some reputable tire dealers will replace or pay for wheel repairs if something like that happens.
