sup guys, i need some help with the offset of the FN wheel in the rear on an S13 with 5 lug conversion... I would like some dish to the wheel in the rear, but I dont really want to roll the fenders or pull them. now I heard that the 17x9 +15 does come with more concave, so I wanted to know if I would have to run more camber in the rear if I were to go with the +15 in the rear. What are the advantages/disadvantages of running the lower +15 offset wheel in the rear compared to the conservative +35... I really need some help deciding on which offset for the 17x9's cuz i'm ordering the wheels soon and the 17x9 +15 is on sale somewhere.... thanks guys, dre

Since the trend is to alter camber to fit wheels and tires to a car, then yes, depending on ride height you will increase negative camber to make the top of the assy flush with the edge of the fender.

From reading other posts, the +15 is quite popular fitment on the rear. Pics are everywhere

I really dont want to be buying expensive *** tires all the time, so how much negative camber will I have to run to make these fit?? I have adjustable RUCA's but I dont really wanna run more then say...-2 degrees camber in the rear to save tread and money . And if I do have to run more than that, than someone convince me to buy the+15 in the rear anyways!!! lol If i go with the +35, for some reason I just dont think that it will look all that good compared to the +15

With -1* of rear camber, I had to roll my rear fenders for a 17x9 +35. I run 235/45/17.

Did you read on FA that the 17x9 +15 is concave? If you're talking about the spoke design that looks like all the 17x10's, then NO - it is NOT concave. Looks just like the other widths, but has a huge arse mounting pad on it. Same spoke design as the 7" and 8" widths.

As for your question - 17x9 +15 will require fender pulling(not just rolling) to fit a tire in the 245-255 range. I guess you could squeeze a 225 on there and get by with a simple roll, but it'll definitely stick out some.

17x10" +35 will fit in the back with some fender rolling if you want the concave look. I have 17x10 +25's back there with 275/40's. Took about 1.25" of fender pulling to fit them, and they are CLOSE. The +35 will give you a bit more space, but you'll still need some pulling.

pretty sure the face on the 17x9 +15 and +35 is the same, just a different back plate.

you have to pull a lot to not have to run a lot of camber for 17x9 +15. I pulled mine at least a half inch and I run -1.75 degrees rear. My friend has that same wheel on stock fenders and he has to run like 4 degrees of camber, it's retarded.

Whenever I can get my car to a bodyshop, I'm going to have them pull the fenders out even more so I can run a 10.5 or 11" wheel in the back. But thats after aero and etc etc etc.
