Hey everyone,

It has been a long while since I have posted something, nice to see that Nico is looking better than ever.

I was looking to see if any out there had purchased a set of some 5 Zigen FN01R-C with the polished lip?

I bought mine back in August(I think) of 05. Since then, one of the wheels has totally lost the clear coast over the polished lip. Now it is starting to look a little ****ty.

I know brake fluid and over corrosives can damage these things, but the way it came off was weird. It wasn't like it started coming off little by little, rather the whole clearcoat on the lip came off in a couple pieces. I could set the peices out and actually peice them together, forming the shape of the wheel.

It makes me think that I got a defective wheel.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience?

Ill post some pics of it soon.

sounds like the wheel got hot and the adhesive/laminate broke down on the wheel....

I'd strip it off all of the wheels, and clean it with some simple green, then take some old no.7 rubbing compound to it, then some alluminum [olish and be happy

I'm suprised they put a cleat coat over it...

same happened to mine

kinda started 'flaking' off if you might say. mine aren't large spots yet, just alot of smaller ones. I think i'm going to powdercoat them, that'll take care of the problem.
