okay so i rob somebody friday for an intercooler, bypass valve, boost gauge and a vortec fmu for 175 got to love craigslist but beside the point he could not give me a straight answer on what the ratio was on the thing. is there anyway to find out if i crack it open would it say in there as long as i dont remove the four screws holding the valve in place.

I think the only way to be sure of the ratio is to buy a recalibration kit. In my opinion it is the smartest way to know exactly what you have.
