ok so im looking to build a cheap ka-t setup im looking to run 7-10 psi max and was wondering if it is safe to use one of the vortech fmu's for a prolonged period what else would i need for it to be safe adn any brand suggestion other then vortech ....... im gonna keep stock injectors if possible but may get some 370's any info appreciated

up to 8psi max....reccomended use of a smallerish turbo. without a doubt must have a upgraded fuel pump (especially because its so cheap). theres plenty of FMU's out there, you dont necessarily need to get vortech. begi is probably the best brand i believe since its adjustable and stuff. but a 8:1 disc for 100$ is fine.

PS. Shame on you for saying you searched...i typed in FMU and already got the information you needed on the first page.

it depends on what the pressure ratio for the fpr is, but for 7-10 psi, i'd say no. up to 7psi with a small turbo, yes. but just get some injectors.

same thought here i'm usin a t25 on stock boost so i was gonna run an 8:1 fmu n a greddy dual turbo tmr, gauge n fuel for 200!
