I am trying to figure out a way to make a drain for my holset hx35 to my block. I was originally using the stock rb drain cut and welded and then some heater hose to connect it to the fitting in the block, but this was not sufficient and was not draining fast enough. I just purchased a bunch of AN -12 fittings and hose to try and put together some combination. I made a holset drain to AN fitting for the turbo side and bought a 3/4npt to -12 for the block. No matter if I use 45 deg or straight AN fittings the cross member/motor mount is in the way.

What are you guys using for a drain? This is killing me that I can't figure out a way to do this. Thanks for your help!

Are you using a restrictor on your turbo feed?

I am using -10 with a 90 into the block. Arn't there are couple places on the block that will accept a drain? Mine dosen't interfere with the crossmember or mounts at all iirc.

Don't use heater hose!!!!
I've taken a ride on that failboat already.

I had a similar problem with my t3/t4 I used oil safe hose and a spring thingies that keeps the hose from kinking. Not the best but it works.

I'm going to change over to a An setup.
When I do mine ill post up what I have.

My -10 drains plenty fast for my HX35, granted I am on a top mount manifold. Its a long a** line though.
