What do you mean? There's no difference really than a SMIC. In fact, it should be easier with a FMIC. Search it man, someone asked this yesterday and probably like 3 times this week

one by the throttle body on the cold pipe for the idle air and one for your wastegate on your hot pipe everything else is on your throttle body

There shouldn't be any connected to the cold pipe. Assuming your BOV is on the hotpipe

ok so those three coming off the intake: two of those still plug into that plastic black resevoir looking thing right? Also my rack and pinion is shot so i was gunna not run PS until its replaced, is there any way to plug the PS pump w/o removing the belt from the engine?

Why can't you just stick bolt in the return and intake of the rack and pinion to block off the oil. Than just take off the PS pump.

I had this EXACT problem. I had to take my rack and pinion off and than retap the threads. Might as well replace your rack and pinion, if its leaking, or old.

Here is your answer to the original question:

Courtesy of heavy throttle:The vacuum lines are simple: 3 lines start at the throttle body. The bottom one goes to the canister, block it off unless you are using the canister. The larger one on top runs to the bypass valve (BOV), there should be no tee's or branches - go directly to the BOV. The smaller top line splits to the fuel pressure regulator, and runs across the front of the engine to your boost gauge and/or the boost pressure port on your boost controller.

The wastegate gets its signal from the nipple on the intercooler piping. The Apexi boost controller stepping motors go in between the IC piping and the wastegate actuator.

i just noticed/remembered theres an attachment point on the elbow just before FMIC, and im wondering what its for. and does that have anything to do with the large attachment point on the underside of the air filter? i still dont know what that vacuum line coming off the cylinder thing is..

So what if you dont have a vaccum nipple on the hot pipe for you wastegate? What can you hook the wastegate up to?
