Had a boost leak because my original setup was ill-conceived so I cut off 1/4" of my frame rails in front of the spot welds.

Galvanized steel brackets attach at the modified headlight assembly support and use the intercooler for reinforcement. The end result seems to be stronger than the original brace.

I had a bracket welded to the intercooler here but it failed after two years. Instead I used 1 1/4" x 1/4" bar stock aluminum (don't know which alloy sorry) mounted to the top of both sides of the intercooler and to the hood latch. The end result is stronger than the welded tab, and can also be adjusted...not that I actually care about how my hood fits.

The other side.

Same 1 1/4" x 1/4" bar massaged to fit the delicate underpinnings of an s13...lol Hey it works better than it looks ok.

Why yes that is an ac line running under my radiator support...why do you ask? Large crossflow radiators don't leave room for ac lines.

Thanks for viewing.
