i dont think its too big. its all about the pressure drop of the intercooler.

I'd say it's too big for the stock turbo. May see some lag as it fills up with boost. Thats not what gets me though. The front bumper support is my main concern. I'd like to keep it in place for chasis rigidty.

I think the tiny bit of lag u'll feel is well surpased by the cooling capabilities of the FMIC. You will have to trim the bumper support but it's still useable. I have the Blitz LM on a stock t25, i got it due to least pressure drop and least heat soak. If u are able to notice the tiny bit of lag, u could always sell it. Good luck. I'm sure the FMIC i got is overkill for the t25, and maybe even the gt2871r i have sitting in my room, but ur better off doing it once. If u plan to upgrade turbo's in the future i'de say keep it.

The front support does nothing for chassis rigidity in handling terms. It does have rigidity in compressive frontal collisions.

I know with the S14, you can install the intercooler in a way so you don't have to lose the bumper support...
