I have a 1993 240sx with a Bomex urethane front lip. I was looking for front mount that would fit snug in my bumper with out having to cut.

So far I was looking at something like this- http://www.mishimoto.commishim....html

Any one ever added a front mount this size to there 240 or smaller? I am only looking to stay around 12 pounds of boost max... what do you guys think about a side mount?

Sorry if this has been answered all ready I tried to find it on search but, nothing.

Invalid link. But you live in texas, and depending on where you live SMIC is death due to heat soak. (Hell, even in the north peninsula you still get the summer heat) Just get the FMIC mod the bumper as needed and be happy. That's what I did. I live in Austin and been dealin with 100+ degree weather for the past 2 months straight. And I'm glad I went with the FMIC cause right now I would be dyin if I had the side mount.

Maybe this one will work! I

Yes it is VERY hot and VERY humid here in Texas especially down here in Corpus your right so I guess I can just junk the thought of using a side mount out the window?

Just get the usual eBay one.Get a fileAnd file the bumper till it fits.

I dont think youll need to do much filing IMO, cuz i have an eBay FMIC and it fit perfectly on the Chuki front end i used to run.

I had to trim the Silvia bumper a bit to fit it though. About and Inch worth of filing and it fits perfectly snugly looks like it came from the factory like that.
