I really would love to keep my AC any chance of that ? did you have to remove it because of the core or piping or what ?

im sure there is a way, but you will need to possibly use a smaller intercooler. I dont know of many people who keep the a/c in the car.

I have an 31x6.5x3 IC and it fits PERFECT...although I havent run the piping yet, I WILL find a way to keep my AC...it's not an option to loose it here in Texas.

I've got a '91 coupe with A/C and a turbo. I wend UNDER the car instead of around through the fenders. I also kept the stock battery size and placement. I used 2.5" piping. Right inside the bumber supports there is a small notch. That's where I put the pipes. I'm using a modified Starion intercooler. The IC has a 8x16x2.5 core. This is what it looks like through the front.

It's a compromise ruunning the pipes under the car. They are approximatly the lowest thing up front but not by much. I have to do a rad swap next week so while I'm in there I'll take some pics to show you how I did it. You may still want to do it differently.

There should be plenty of room under the car to mount the pipes without having them protrude down too much. Route it the same way F-Max and NSport do and the pipes should be well protected unless you run over a wheel or something else large and metallic. End even then, it would actually have to hit the pipe.
