Is it a big problem if the bottom of my intercooler rubs a little? It occasionally rubs and some of the fins are bent on the bottom.

i would try to fix it. it could eventually wear away and cause a boost leak.

get a PBM high mount intercooler if you are afraid. Also angle your car when pulling in and out of places also keep 2x4's in the car just in case. I personally wouldn't of asked this question and just went with the obvious "yes, it is bad". Typically anything scraping the ground repeatedly is not a good thing. :inoutgay:

How big of a problem is this? Do I need to change it soon or can I wait to fix other things? Sorry about all the stupid questions im new to this stuff.

Dude how did you manage to mount it that crooked? Yea Id fix that now. Better to do it before you have problems, that should be common sense

It's easier with the bumper removed, but you can do it from underneath the car... I'm 99% sure that the guy just rushed it together. If you loosen your hose clamps, and the bolt holding your intercooler, you should be able to get everything straight.. Once done, retighten everything back down.

I have Denim 205 Vulcs. My foot hurts bad but i still rock them.

Get a new intercooler core and mount it a lot better. The ISIS core is not a bad deal at all.

cut the front bumper so it sits flush up against the intercooler.

godspeed IC's are good fitting too.
just put something between there so it absorbs impact/rubbing.
i did that for some spots of the IC piping.

I agree on the godspeed, my friend with a CA18 has one and it fits way better than i expected it to.
