I'm trying to narrowing down my choices on FMIC. I'm getting HKS SS BOV, hope that will help with my FMIC selection.

HKS, Greddy, Apex, Blitz...????What FMIC would you prefer for your SR20DET S13 240sx?

They are all probably equally capable.

Which one would you recommend for the SR in a S13 though? Most people probably get it for the name right? Please let me know why you voted for _____. I'm just wondering, that's all

I ordered a Greddy R-SPL FMIC, but Greddy is on a huge back order and may take 2-3 weeks at least to get the shipments into the US. So I'm considering switching to a Blitz LM FMIC. Greddy 1. Blitz 2.

Remember bigger isnt always better depending on the setup. All of those will have about the same hp figures. There are some cheaper ones like HPI intercoolers that are just as good.

Ive worked with them in the past... great guys, just sometimes a pain when sh-stuff has to come from Japan.

Look into the Downpipe they offer, it is extended to remove the Cat.

I got the greddy for my swap, but Enjuku was running a sale on them, if you measure the air inside my FMIC isnt that much more air than all the tubing for the stock sidemount

yeah i checked that to. but i email the guys that deal with HPI in the usa (http://www.jouleusa.com) and they want 860 + shipping. http://www.heavythrottle.com offered the same kit for 800 bucks but stopped selling it because they lowered the prices on the greddy kit to match.

piping comes with the kit. you will need a seperate hotpipe however. those are also available through heavythrottle for about 130 i think(they include a flange for whichever BOV you want)

Im really cheap because im allways broke(because of my car) so i do alot of reaserch to save money. for a full FMIC kit and hotpipe(which you have to get or fabricate) it will cost you at least $1000 with namebrand stuff.

ooops I failed to see the work kit, my bad. Yea that is a pretty good deal through heavy throttle, I am surprised (not surprised at the fact they are actually not a**es or anything, just at the prices). Anyone have any input on how much better their kit is vs any others?

I think were talking kits, not cores. No difforence though, the kit buys you all the piping and what not without having to worry about shoddy workmanship from some shop that does all of the custom piping.

I you want to take the core only with custom piping, hey its up to you. I prefer installing everything myself so I know no one did a half-a$$ed job to save some time and money.

I think in the end it is still less expensive to go the pre-fab route.

i would vote greddy V SPL. great great intercooler for the money. nice and big, however very sufficient, and the price is right.
