FMIC off of other cars

I tried to hijack someone else's thread, but apparently that doesn't work here. I'm considering going w/ a Starion IC (or any other OE IC you might recommend) since it's dirt cheap by comparison. Do you folks think it's big enough, where can I get some IC piping made, and will it need any modification? I'm aimin for 300HP ... but once i get there i'll be bitten by the speed bug i'm sure, but that's irrelevant for now i suppose

Best bet would be to just buy an entire intercooler kit from a reputable company. I would go with EnjukuRacing.com and see what they say.

the Starion has TINY inlet and outlets 1.75in and it's not going to flow 300hp worth of air. I had 2in inlets and outlets put on mine allong with some custom end-tanks but that was still marginal for over 250rwhp.

I'd lookint some Isuzu NPM intercoolers, those seem to be the biggest best 'junkyard' cores.
