i was considering on getting a fmic.. but then i find out most kits run from 750$ and up. I dont really have that kind of cash.. But instead of getting a kit i was thinking about buying just a intercooler then makin or getting some custom ic piping. i know there are some ppl who have made their own ic piping from mandrel bent pipes and i was wondering if i could get some advice or alteast a starting point... OR instead should i just save some money and get a fmic kit and not go through the trouble of having to make my own ic piping..

save up for the greddy vspl... it'll cost just about the same after you get all the piping welded up.

eBay/Johnnyracecar.com/equivalent smaller FMIC + custom piping should do fine for moderate goals. WELL below some incredibly overpriced-due-to-cool-name kit which is probabaly overkill for someone on a limited budget anyhow.
