Im just imagining it now and the way I have my turbo set up, the throttle body of the intake and the turbo compressor housing are facing the same way. This means that I have to run a crazy amount of piping to do this. I have included two pics for you to see what my options are.

Pulsargtr, Jason, Dee... What did you guys do?

run an intercooler with the inlet and outlet on the same side and a a switchback tank on the other. That will shorten your pipe run.

the second pituce would prolly allow u to make the pulsar's airbox stay in its stock spot. I know i had to move mine to the front air dam.

I like this idea, much cleaner.

that's a little inconvenient now that Ive already got the intercooler. I never saw this problem to begin with so I never really accounted for it.

That effectively gives you a 6 foot long intercooler, talk about pressure drop, and by time you reach the end of it you are barely transferring any heat out. All in all its not a great idea as far as heat exchangers go. But packaging yes it would be a little bit easier.

I'll dig in and see what I can find, but I can honestly say my set-ups are different from the way you guys' set ups run. This is an old set-up, buti s basically the way my car is currently set-up today. As you can see, this set-up used two BOVs and a log manifold and can honestly say it worked pretty damn good.

Here's a shot of the CA powered B13.

The B13's turbo shot (Gt35R).

Here's a picture of what my set-up looks like now.

Here's a photo of the turbocharger that powers my car today less the log manifold (T3/T04E 60-1 stage ?).

Hope this helps and entertains you as well...............

Why? It looks like a single turbo...

two dump valves for faster response. you can vent the air way faster with two gaping holes as opposed to one.

dee, how did that gt35r work out? know where it spooled and everything? i have always been kinda curious how it was suited to the CA. my gt28r is kinda small.

to the OP: either inlet and outlet on the same side, or use one with the inlet on the bottom and outlet on the top. then you can run the plumbing straight over to the intake manifold as was intended. on second thought, no one is using that terrible intake manifold. go with tms's suggestion.

Actually Tim, the GT35R is a pretty nice turbo for the CA. Even though his is internally stock, his exhaust manifold, intercooler and diameter of intercooler piping makes a world of difference for the turbo's spool-up time which is already spooling-up by 3200rpm and is at full boost at or around 4700 rpm. It comes on so quick and hard, that it makes it very hard to watch the tachometer or the window on his SDS programmer that displays his engine's real time functions. All in all, it's an excellent choice for the power seeker "period".

I like the camouflage look, man and can't wait to see some track results as well. But I do have a serious question for you as a friend, installer, tuner, and a fellow enthusiast, why in the hell haven't you dumped the stock coils, the stock ignitor, and the stock CAS when you are running a powerful and proven standalone? I know it's your car and I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but I'm curious to know why you guys opted to leave that stuff on the engine.

Anyways, when I get through doing the million and one projects for some of the other guys on the forum, I'll make it to a track myself with a pair of slicks to see just how good this new suspension really is.

Well you hit the nail on the head my friend.

I have not had a problem with coils, igniter, or CAS since i installed the Haltech. So its been 4 years and not even a simple problem with a coil going bad.

But yea i cannot wait to get to the track this summer. I also plan on picking up a set of slicks and getting a timeslip that this car deserves.
