I have been lookin to get a Spearco intercooler but I have been hearing alot of different stories about dimensions. So my question is what would be a good size front mount to get for a S13. The reason I am asking is because i dont wanna go over kill with a huge front mount. Any help would be appreciated.

My intercooler is a Spearco core, measuring 18" wide by 9" tall by 3" thick. With the end tanks, I believe it is 24" or 26" wide. It fits behind the bumber without needing any modification to anything except the plastic bumper cover. Overall, the size is good, although you would be fine with something that's 6"-8" tall, because the upper part of my intercooler is partially blocked by the bumper. You would need to "modify" things for something taller. I have some pics of it, and I'm uploading them now so I'll post a pic once they're uploaded.

My intercooler takes up almost all of the hole in the bumper... Its actually a little too tall, as it goes down into my lip about an inch and behind my bumper support some too.

Red Dog Motorsports Core... 21" x 9" x 3" with 2.5 inch inlet/outlets. Excellent product, excellent price:)

they also make a 12 inch tall version.

Hey NeedCAforS13:

I am trying to locate the front lip spoiler shown in your photo. Can you tell me where I might find it?

Also - Red Dog is selling a 21x7 now, not a 21x9. In your opinion, would a 21x7 be better for our cars?

Thanks for your help!Mark
