I have a stock SR am looking to upgrade to a FMIC in the near future and I wanted to know what size core you have, as well as piping size.

Does anyone have a core that just clears the bumper support, height wise?

You HAVE to modify the bumper support to fit almost all FMIC's out there. Most people just take them out, apparently they do very little in an accident. I just bought myself a greddy spec M. If your worried about how much HP the cores can handle, you need to look into which kit is suitable for your application.

No, I'm more worried about response.

What I really want to know is, how has your response changed after chnaging to a FMIC. This also depends on your core size and piping.

I currently have like a 19-20" Wide by 9" Tall by 2.5" thick core.

It required no cutting, but 24" fits the Nissan Bumpers perfect in width but of course requires cutting.
