Okay, so I've noticed that my SR hauls major arse in the cold mornings and chilly nights -- i'll get instant spool and full boost before ~2700rpm. But when the sun is fully out, the car has serious lag and it only begins to spool at ~2800 rpm.

Also, about half of my FMIC is covered by my stock chuki bumper cover. My question is this: If I expose the whole FMIC, will I notice any lag reduction during the day?

Give me your personal input with your lag and FMIC experience. Thanks in advance.

Well, I'm not sure about serious performance issue... maybe the cooling efficiency is reduced by half?? not sure. If I'm concerned, I'll get some flex-a-lite fans and put it behind the FMIC.

any car likes colder air rather than hot air, my other car(20gturbod eclipse) ran like **** when it was hotter than 50deg outside and ran awesome when it was colder. It wasnt ever tuned right so i think that was a big issue.
