I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with their FM reception on their G50. I have a 1994 Q45 with a Bose system. I can get AM reception but no FM. The antenna seems to work in that it extends and retracts fine. Any ideas on how to correct the problem would be most appreciated.

The FM antennae is primarily in the rear windshield glass, the retractable antenna is primarily for AM....................diversity system is built into radio.

Was there every any extra tint added to rear andd removed?

Never seen FM only fail in radio but always a first time.

Disco the rear glass connector and connect a 32" piece of wire to act as an antennae for test.

The windows were tinted but no tinting been removed. The FSM appears to show the connection to the rear window antenna about half way up the rear window on the right hand side. Am I correct in presuming that the I need to remove the interior plastic panel above the right rear door and along the right rear side next to the rear window to get to the plug you suggest I disconnect?
