FM radio reception loss in a 2010 Infiniti QX56

Help! I have had my 2010 Infiniti QX56 for one day and now the FM reception keeps going to static! It'll play clear for about a minute then loses reception! Anyone know how to fix this issue?

does it happen on all stations? FM?

did anything physically happen to your car prior to this?

does this happen when the car is stationary or in motion? or both?

This happens on all FM stations. I just bought the car. There appears to be no damage. I lose reception mostly in motion and occasionally sitting still.

the radio antenna is on the side window in the rear. check back there to see if the antenna is connected to the glass wire that runs around it.

also, the antenna plug for the radio head unit could be damaged. being its a used car, anything is possible.

im amazed people still listen to terrestrial radio! :p
