Does anyone know where the antenna connection or FM Tuner is in a 2004 Q45. Trying to install an iPod FM direct unit into the car.

if i remember correctly it's either toward the bottom of the center console wayy under the radio (usually secured to a clip on the metal dash frame), or behind the glovebox. Being a 2004, it could have either the new style (square connector) or the old style (Big barrel/two wire) since they changed over in 2005. I've seen both in close model year changes (even some other cars, volvo, kia, honda, etc. share the new Nissan style. it's oddball stuff tho).

make sure you have the forward and reverse adapters before you start though... i'm sure it's no fun having to wait or drive back to the store with half the dash removed.

Are you using the Peripheral unit (iSimple) or another brand?

It's an iSimple IS77 FM direct piece. Just trying to find where the magic black box can connect between the antenna connection and the tuner.
