GIven that you'd have to pay 4500-7k for a RB installed,plus any upgrades, you'd be better off (until the 700hp mark, anyway) just doing work on the existing, and fantastic VQ that is in the vehicle now.
A nice twin turbo kit will set you back 5k and get you around 400rwhp. with a smooth torque curve.
Now, the RB has more revvs, and a higher proven power capability, but these engines are built beyond belief and you could easily build a VQ similarly.
I have seen an RB in a 350Z, making about 410hp, and it was cool...but even the owner admitted he could have gotten that kind of power with a turbo or supercharger kit on the factory engine without the hassle....but it was pretty cool to see.
And you could use the old 260Z badge for craps and giggles.
